I recently spoke to The Wall Street Journal about hiring a gamer (with a degree in game design) for an educational technology role. I believe that avid gamers tend to have very valuable skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability. These skills are constantly refined through gameplay and are crucial to any job function.
