“What happens when you challenge a half-dozen Forbes Under 30 alumni—with roughly a half-century of experience working for the likes of IBM, the NFL, Code.Org, the Smithsonian, Quicken Loans and the Air Force—to consider one of Detroit’s most pressing problems and find a solution? You get three.”
I spent a weekend volunteering my time to help come up with a possible solution to help the city of Detroit meet their needs around digital literacy. My hope is that our pitch will eventually be implemented so that it can truly make an impact for the people that need it most. This was also an incredible opportunity to meet and collaborate with Sarah Filman, Chase Minnifield, Michael Kanaan, Prachi Patel, Eleonora Sokolsky, and Zack O’Malley Greenburg.
